Captain Husband came home late Tuesday night (which also happened to be our third wedding anniversary--pretty good timing, eh?) and we've all been adjusting pretty well. It's so nice having our little family all together again. I think Sammy even remembers CH from his visit home a month ago because Sammy hasn't really shown any signs of being strange around CH, thank goodness.
Yesterday we headed over to the pool to cool off for a bit after finishing up some things on our to-do list for the big move, like re-caulking the master bathroom, re-installing all of the original builder's grade light fixtures, and repairing the split seam in the kitchen floor (my dad came down and helped a lot--I'm going to miss having him an afternoon's drive away when we attempt our first DIY project in El Paso).
No, I don't see any resemblance at all. What are you talking about?
I think they're getting along just fine, don't you?

The Planet Wise wet bag would be a staple in my house even if I wasn't using cloth diapers on Sammy; in addition to keeping his dirty diapers safely stashed in my diaper bag, I like to use my wet bag for packing toiletries (because it's totally leak-proof I don't have to worry about my moisturizer leaking and ruining all of the clothes in my suitcase) and yesterday I used it to keep my camera and iPhone safe and dry while we were at the pool. We go the pool all of the time since it is right next door. I would use the bag for the camera, C's snacks, and the hats sunglasses as they come off. Love it!
I would put my car keys, phone, and camera in there. Last week I went swimming and my keys and phone ended up in the pool because I forgot to check my pockets!
I love Sammy giving the scrunchie noes to CH and showing his teeth. The baby does that, too. So adorable!!!
I follow you even with out goodies, cos I love reading about Sammy and I am so glad for your little family you are finally complete again. This will take some pressure off you...it is nice to have a partner to hand the little terrors over every now and then;-) enjoy the time until your move and keep taking these cute pics of the wee man!

I have a homemade wet bag, but have a remorse that I don't own MORE wet bags, because I always forget ours. I'd love an extra to switch out when one is dirty. And I put everything in them-wet swim trunks, dirty clothes, leaky sippy cups, and of course diapers. Once in a while it even doubles for a diaper bag. I just pop a clean diaper in with some wipes and a changing pad, and then trade it out for the dirty.
Your son is so cute!
I would put my Kindle and cell phone in there for sure. I can see this being a plus away from the pool or beach.
