It's the little things...

...that make a house a home.  Like the area rug in the living room where Sandy can get comfy:


A turquoise hutch filled with some of my favorite vintage kitchen goodies:


A chandelier from our old house, hung with care in our new dining room:


A room filled with Sammy's favorite toys and play things:


Neatly organized books, just waiting to be paged through and read:


Doorbells and sleighbells, hung from the front door; these are especially meaningful to me, as they belonged to my grandma and hung from her front door for many years...I've hung them in every place I've lived in for the past seven years:


There's still a lot of work left to do, but with each passing day, our house in El Paso is slowly turning into our home.
