{I will be the first to admit that I am one of those tree-hugging, hippie parents who actively searches out gender-neutral toys for my kid--I see no reason for toys to be gender stereotyped and try to keep things nicely balanced in regards to Sammy's play things. Why shouldn't a toddler own both a toy power drill and a glitter-covered Hello Kitty sippy cup?}
{So when Sammy spent the better part of a play date last month pushing around a doll stroller, I made up my mind to get him one with some of the Christmas money sent to him by his great-grandparents. Sammy loves this thing--he'll put his favorite toys in the stroller and push them all over the house; it's only a matter of time before he attempts to put Sandy in there. Since the weather was so nice yesterday, I decided to try a little experiment and see if Sammy would take his stroller on a walk all the way around the block.}
{Man, I should have tried this a long time ago. Sammy had a blast--and the task of pushing the stroller (and keeping it upright) kept him focused enough that I didn't have to worry about him trying to dart off into the street, which means I was actually able to enjoy the walk, too.}
{I think Sammy's Baby had a good time on the walk as well, even though there were several harrowing wheelies and tight turns here and there. And that's why you should always wear your seat belt, kids.}

Love it! You know I am on board with the hippie parenting. Maeve pushes her dinosaurs in her stroller :)
This is just tooooo cute!! Love the pics, L!
Happy Wednesday!
aww cute! My son loves baby dolls too, right along with trains and planes. He likes to diaper them and feed them:)
you have no idea how cool I think this is and that you got him these toys and kept them boyish for him. I will totally do this if we have a boy as I think being able to play with dolls and strollers helps them to better know how to interact with real babies. AWESOME pictures of him and wow..he is so freaking cute!
Finally! Amy has had hers for 6 months, as you know;-) she loves it still. I think it is the best thing we ever bought for her. We have 2 now...every time I go out, one of these is on my buggy in case she wants to walk. She stays closer to me and enjoys her walks so much more. She uses it to pick up pine cones, leaves and stones and walks them around. When we meet her friend Julia they generally swap buggies for the day...and babies. For mums who like it mor boy-ish. My friend Katie designed boy patterned covers...www.zubunt.at
Awww. So fun!!! Dustyn loves pushing around babies in strollers.
Right on with the attitude toward gender-who-cares toys! :)
I love the stroller. A toy is a toy, the more it promotes imagination the better.
every boy of mine pushed a stroller and very girl of mine knows how to use a hammer.
