Guess who decided to arrive at 11:26 am yesterday? My not-so-little little boy Charlie who weighed in at 8 pounds, 14 1/2 ounces and 21" long. He and I are doing well, although it's going to take me a little while longer to recover than I had expected as I had to have an emergency c-section. With any luck, we'll both get to go home on Tuesday--I can't wait to have all of my boys together!

Hooray, and welcome Charlie! Sorry about the emergency section, those are no fun, but hopefully your mom is sticking around a bit to help. I wish you a quick recovery, easy BFing (if that's the plan), and lots of rest and healing!!!!

Congratulations! I had a c-section with my first babe and really had a tough time with recovery. Take it easy - don't get discouraged because you WILL feel better - I promise :)

Hey lady love. I have been thinking of you constanly, knowing that bundle of love came many weeks ago. My world has been beyond insane and too busy. But such is the life of a working mom with a kindergartner that is an hour away from my work!!! :) He is so perfect...and I can definitely know the feelings you are going through with an emergency c-section. Been there, done that. Thinking of you always. Congrats to the growing, gorgeous family!!!
