Wordless{ish} Wednesday: When Sammy met Charlie

{Charlie and I came home from the hospital yesterday and we've slowly been integrating into family life.  Sammy is very interested in his little brother, or at least as interested as the average two-year-old can be; he even brought some of his cars over to Charlie to share them with him.  And in other news, pain killers are my best friend right now.}

Love the pic! Sammy is an amazing big brother already. And I'm so glad your Mom is there to help you.

Painkillers are indeed awesome. Don't try to do too much. And make sure to use those arms to push yourself out of chairs or off the bed.

Congratulations on the perfect addition to your new family.

I love how Charlie is rocking the sock hands. I learned this trick from a mom at work, and boy, did it work better than baby mittens ever did!

He is such a cute big brother.
Pain meds will be your friend. Do not try to be brave or tough and do too much. It is just like when you are sick, you will have spurts of feeling up to the challenge and then you realize you are not. But now you have a newborn and a giant incision. So take it easy!

What a dear photo! Yes, do take it easy. I'm a type A and have always had a hard time just resting - so don't be like me - rest, rest, rest!

I found your blog through "Simple as That". What sweet boys you have! Congratulations on your new baby! I hope your recovery goes quick. I had a c-section last Oct. and right at around the 3 week mark, the pain seemed to go away and I was feeling a lot better.
