Cheese!

 

This is Caleigh, the daughter of my friend, Laura.  Laura's a military spouse, too, so she knows all too well the joys of moving across the country with small children and pets in tow.   Laura and her family were kind enough to invite Sammy and me over for an extended playdate yesterday (perfect timing because the painters were in our house all day) followed up by a delicious home-cooked meal.  It was such a lovely (and much-needed) break from the pressures of moving.  I still can't believe that we're going to be starting our journey to El Paso this weekend, but I'm definitely ready to get this adventure started.  I'm not going to be posting anything personally next week, but I have some fantastic guest bloggers lined up for your reading pleasure; if you want to stay-up-to-date with the progress of our move, be sure to follow me on Facebook as I'll be posting updates and photos there during that time.
