Step 1: Admitting you have a problem

You know it's bad when the people working the drive-thru lane know your order just by the sound of your voice. Every morning, without fail, I load Sammy into the car and head off to my local Dunkin' Donuts to get my breakfast of an egg and cheese sandwich and a medium iced caramel latte. I realize I could easily make do without this little luxury, but there's something so reassuring about this daily pilgrimage. It's sad to admit this, but some days my Dunkin' run comprises the only face-to-face interaction with another adult that I'll have in a twenty-four hour period. Lame, I know, but some days I need an incentive that doesn't involve spit-up to change out of my pajamas and take a shower.

I used to think drive-thrus were for lazy people, but now it's so wonderful not to wake her when I need an Arby's fix :)

Drive thrus are God's gift to mamas. The drive-thru pharmacy has been my savior many times. And I totally get the D & D treat yourself thing. I admit to fulfilling my French vanilla, light with one sugar fix on occasion, as well as the ultimate treat - Starbucks! Nothing beats a white chocolate mocha on a cold day :)
