Math is not my forté
I jumped the gun a bit when I posted Sammy's four-month update last week. Turns out I was off by two weeks; Sammy won't be four months old until next Wednesday when he turns eighteen weeks. For some reason, I just assumed that four weeks equaled one month when used as a unit of measurement. Yeah, I was totally wrong. Whoops! It's not as though it makes a huge difference, but at least I have another week before I have to start feeling bad about Sammy's current inability to roll over thanks to me neglecting to enforce a daily tummy-time schedule, which will obviously affect his future employment options when he's an adult. Mom guilt: I'm doing it right.

Maeve used to hate tummy time but totally changed her mind. Sammy'll get there :)
He'll get there when he gets there. Tummy time used to be a chore with us, too, but our son started rolling every which way suddenly at 5 months and hasn't stopped moving since. And yeah, I got caught by that "4 weeks does not equal a month" deal; as a result, I've stopped counting weeks entirely.
he'll move when hes ready :D
I think many women miscalculate their pregnancies the same way! I've heard some women say that pregnancy is 10 months long because 40 weeks divided by 4 is 10 months--when in reality, only 1 month in the year is a mere 4 weeks long! Haha. Anyway, happy soon-to-be 4 months to your baby!
I'm sure our parents had no idea about tummy time when we were 3.75 months old. And we turned out alright :-)
