Load 'em up, move 'em out

Save for a few odds and ends scattered around, our house is now completely empty. While the movers were loading up the truck, Captain Husband and I set about doing a thorough cleaning of each room as it was cleared of boxes, so I'm completely wiped out. In between vacuuming the footboards, cleaning the windows (um, I don't think they've ever been cleaned, ew), and scrubbing the bathroom, I managed to grab a few photos of the move in process--the movers kept asking if they were on candid camera.

Loaded up and ready to go

How'd you manage to make moving look so pretty?

Ditto to Ashley's comment. Seriously, woman. Moving day is one day I'm glad my camera is lost.

Congrats on getting everything boxed up! The cleaning part is the worst - I don't think our windows had ever been cleaned either!

How exciting! BTW- I love using movers like those. Ours came in & had the whole house logged & loaded with in 2 hours. I was IMPRESSED. They unloaded in just a little over that & they put everything in the right rooms. It is totally worth not doing it myself- which we have done more times than I care to remember. :)

Um, how did I not know you sewed? I see the form in the picture. Before children and photography I used to sew all of the time.

Seeing all those boxes packed up made me sad...can't imagine the range of emotions you must be feeling right now! BTW we've been here four years - I've never washed my windows :(

I agree--this move is way to organized and pretty! I hope the rest of the move went smoothly!
