- Manually adjusted the exposure.
- Manually adjusted the color temperature ever so slightly.
- Applied "vibrance" at 20%.
- Applied "eye bright" at 70% fade.
- Cropped the image.
- I decided to have a little bit of fun with the photo and applied the effect, "black and white"; I then clicked on the "brush" icon and painted over Sammy so that he would be in color while the background and everything else was in black and white.

I've always wanted to try this effect, and while this may not have been the best photo to try it on, practice makes perfect, right? In any case, I really like how the effect places all of the focus on Sammy.

I'm not a huge fan of selective coloring but at least you didn't just do his eyes. :) Seriously, it looks cute.
I agree with Ashley about not just doing his eyes. I love the photo and it's focus on Sammy. You can see those gears turning in his brain while he thinks up his next great plan. LOL!
I love how it turned out, and his outfit is so bright, it really stands out!
He is so cute! Love it!
It's a really nice effect, how you did it! :)
Cute, cute, cute!! The selective coloring isn't my favorite, but I think it works here!
I do like selective coloring--especially when it is used to get rid of the background and make the subject pop as it did here. So cute!
what a sweet photo. i still love the shot. not a huge fan of selective coloring either. it does work sometimes and this time it was done right.
Fun. So cute.
